Rutgers and Playfly Aspire Announce Extension of Comprehensive Partnership
March 21, 2024
ATLANTA – Rutgers Athletics and Playfly Aspire announce another multi-year extension of their fruitful partnership. Since its inception in 2011, this collaboration has proven to be a massive success, with Playfly Aspire’s on-site Fan Relationship Management Center (FRMC) driving over $17 million in ticket and donation revenue to date for the Scarlet Knights.
In addition to maximizing ticket sales for the Scarlet Knights, Playfly Aspire’s FRMC also works side by side with internal development staff to support Rutgers’ fundraising arm, the R Fund. These efforts have driven $2.3 million in charitable contributions to date. The pandemic-driven “Ticket to Success” campaign utilized Playfly Aspire’s on-site staff to convert buyers’ season ticket deposits to donations with a success rate of 24% among football season ticket holders and 28% among winter sport fans.
Playfly Aspire’s commitment to leveraging data-driven strategies is optimizing the fan experience and maximizing revenue opportunities at Rutgers. Playfly Aspire’s SAM team has been pivotal in enhancing fan engagement through targeted fan experience surveys. As a result of this research and subsequent recommendations, Rutgers’ net promoter score among football fans doubled in the past year.
“Returning to the Banks and working closely with the athletic department as a proud Rutgers alumnus has been an incredibly fulfilling experience,” said Drew Bartl. “I’ve cherished the past 5 years here and look forward to many more years of building on this successful partnership to deliver the best gameday experience for our fans.”
“Our ongoing partnership with Playfly Aspire means more growth and opportunities for Rutgers Athletics,” said Brian Cahill, VP of Ticketing for Scarlet Assets Management Company (SAMCO). “Their unwavering commitment to Rutgers and our fans is evident in every interaction. The Playfly Aspire team is not just a ticketing partner; they are an integral part of the Rutgers family.”
