Tulane Announces Extended Partnership with The Aspire Group

Bobby Duhon ’68 to play significant role in Premium Seating 

Tulane Athletics announced the extension of the agreement with The Aspire Group and the addition to the staff of Bobby Duhon ’68, to assist with seating and ticketing for all Tulane Athletics events, including Tulane’s new Yulman Stadium.

Slated to be completed for the 2014 football season, Yulman Stadium will serve as the exciting new destination for Tulane Football. Yulman Stadium will have a capacity of up to 30,000 spectators and will include amenities such as an athlete’s plaza, multi-purpose room and a Letterwinners lounge.  

“I’m pleased to announce that we have expanded our partnership with The Aspire Group”, stated Rick Dickson, Director of Athletics for Tulane University. “They’ve been a great asset for us, are housed within our operations, and have significantly increased the scope of our sales reach and the necessary service that is expected.”

In addition to selling premium seating in Yulman Stadium, Aspire will also increase its responsibility to the entire Tulane fan base by providing world class customer care and securing renewal commitments of season ticket holders across all sports. This will allow for a dedicated, personal relationship based on quality service with all of Tulane’s season ticket holders moving forward. These relationships will continue to help drive revenues but, more importantly, increase customer satisfaction in the stands across all of Tulane’s athletic venues.

A new addition to the Aspire Group, but certainly not a new name, is Tulane great Bobby Duhon ’68.  Duhon will assist in selling premium seating within the Jill H. and Avram A. Glazer Family Club.  

“I’m thrilled Bobby is once again reuniting with Tulane.  He is passionate about his alma mater and we are thankful in having him join this effort.  Bobby will be heavily involved in sales for the Glazer Family Club and have involvement with our former Letterwinners and loyalty club seating plans in Yulman Stadium”, Dickson said.

Duhon, a member of the Tulane Athletics Hall of Fame and the Greater New Orleans Sports Hall of Fame, was a two-sport dominant athlete at Tulane.   He played professionally for the New York Giants for five years before beginning a 30-year career on Wall Street.  
 

“I am really excited about helping Rick Dickson and his staff during the construction phase of Yulman Stadium. My time at Tulane was very rewarding and I have always been very proud to say I went to Tulane.  As I watch the new stadium going up each week I am reminded what it was like playing in the old Tulane Stadium.  Those were exciting days on Willow Street.  We have to support Tulane Athletics, now more than ever,” Duhon stated.

Season ticket packages are available for purchase and renewal by calling the Tulane Team Shop Ticket Office at 504-861-WAVE (9283). All 2013 Tulane Football season ticket holders in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome will have priority access to purchase season tickets in Yulman Stadium (those with a history of supporting both the Tulane Athletics Fund and buying season tickets will receive enhanced priority). Season ticket packages start as low as $100 for adults and $70 for youth.
